The wooden egg shaker not only makes hearts beat faster at Easter, but also delights with its full, rich sound all year round.

The egg rattle owes its warm, harmonious sound to the robust mahogany wood. Initially light brown in colour, the high-quality wood darkens over time, acquiring a beautiful patina.

The egg-shaped shaker was made of untreated wood and filled with many, very small glass beads. This gives the shaker a compact sound and makes it ideal as an accompanying percussion instrument or for dense accents.

It should be stated that mahogany is a sought-after but unfortunately endangered tropical wood and is therefore subject to strict EU import regulations. It can only be imported if it has been legally felled and grows on plantations with diverse tree species.
