Mozart's composition "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" (A little night music) resounds cheerfully and resolutely as you crank the little music box.
The accessible and at the same time dynamic melody was composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart as early as 1787, but was not played in concert halls until around 1900 and seems to have been unknown until then. Today it is all the more popular and with the little music box you can listen to the ancient, mechanical sounds of the melody.
The delicate sounds become fuller and louder when you place the music box – with or without its small box – on a large resonating body. This can be a chair, a shelf or a box.
