The body, crafted from poplar for strength, is highlighted by a gloss varnish. The sturdy, comfortable 4-point screwed maple neck is topped by a laurel fingerboard that adds smoothness and stability.
A versatile configuration.
As for the electronics, the ST100 is equipped with 3 single-coil pickups, a familiar configuration much appreciated for their versatility. Great with clean tones and light saturation, they can also be very biting when combined with powerful distortion. The 5-position selector widens the range of tones offered by the instrument, with three positions associated with each of the three pickups, providing clean and powerful sounds, and two intermediate positions wired in parallel for scooped, velvety tones.
