The flat design of the flat shakers enables very differentiated playing – the sound can be modulated easily by applying pressure to the flat playing surfaces made of sound-optimised composite material. The flat shakers are filled with steel pellets. We have paid particular attention to the perfect weight in order to achieve balanced haptic feedback, responsiveness and, of course, the best possible sound.
The Flat Shaker Smart is twice the size of the small Flat Shaker Pocket. This shape has several advantages. On the one hand, the larger volume and more filling result in a richer and deeper sound and stronger haptic feedback. On the other hand, the elongated shape is easier to hold and you have more playing options, e.g. by being able to shake lengthwise or crosswise. With its dimensions of 10 x 5 x 0.7 cm (approx 4 x 2 x 0.3″), the Flat Shaker Smart still fits well in all trouser pockets that also fit Smartphones.
