This spiral-shaped shell mobile consists of sustainably produced Capiz shells (windowpane oyster). Due to their transparent, translucent properties, interest in these oysters has increased dramatically in recent years, which has led to a sharp decline in their population. To preserve the ecosystem, the small plates of this wind chime were pressed and shaped from shell extracts and remnants in the Indonesian archipelago. This sustainable production method does not impair the quality of the shell mobile and so you can listen to the gentle sound of the mobile in a light breeze. Also suitable for outdoors.
Three 7 – 10 cm roughly round shell platelets are arranged on 12 cords, forming a spiral.
